The Market Access Manager role will design and implement strategies/ plans/ programs which are aligned to commercial priorities and drive market access of Edwards products in the Brazilian market. 1. Provide the Public Affairs LATAM team excellence in external stakeholder engagement. 2. Identify key opportunities in the market and engage key decision makers from HMOs and Hospitals on the Value of EW technologies in order to secure timely patient access. 3. Generating and communicating products health economics aspects and synthetize and adapt other data as required to build the value propositions of Edwards´s products. **Key Responsibilities:** - Understand, describe and prioritize most relevant market access stakeholders (HMOs, hospitals) for our local organization. - Build trusted and strategic relationships with payers and influencing stakeholders to anticipate payers agendas, plans and objectives - Understand the specific needs of payers and reimbursement-related stakeholders and identify mutually beneficial partnering opportunities - Works cross functionally with commercial functions to develop value propositions and messages tailored to multiple stakeholders including payers, clinicians, pharmacists and policy makers. - Manage an agenda with Key Public and Private Accounts in Brazil – HMOs, hospitals – to shape the Value environment and elevate the recognition of EW technologies for the health system. - Fosters key relationships with payers and HTA bodies, developing innovative solutions which are win-wins for patients, the broader healthcare system and Edwards Lifesciences. - Maintains strong compliance with all relevant internal policies, compliance and legal requirements - Other incidental duties: mandatory trainings, personal development, etc **Education and Experience:** - Bachelor´s Degree is required, preferably in Engineering, Pharmacist or similar. - Master´s Degree or equivalent in Health Economics - Functional experience in Reimbursement Market Access - Broad knowledge of government and private payer reimbursement in Brazil. - Existing network to local market access stakeholders - Strategic understanding of the business and strategic thinking - Ability to analyze information and assess risk potential - Advanced English is required. **Additional Skills:** • Strong communication and influencing skills, able to work in a matrix environment and to work with governmental officials. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English required; Ability to speak local language(s) preferred • Proven successful project management skills • Proven expertise in both Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Power Point systems • Extensive understanding of healthcare industry • Strict attention to detail • Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment • Ability to build good relationships with KOLs and Healthcare related authorities as appropriate Edwards Lifesciences is the global leader in patient-focused medical innovations for structural heart disease, as well as critical care and surgical monitoring.
