**Who We Want** + **Effective communicators.** People who can interpret information clearly and accurately to concisely communicate results and recommendations to stakeholders, senior management, and their teams. + **Talent developers.** Growth-oriented managers who recruit and hire top-performing talent and prioritize the development of their team members. + **Network builders.** Managers who build connections with other teams and divisions and coordinate cross-functional collaboration. + **Compliance-focused orchestrators.** Managers who carefully oversee people, processes, and deliverables to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures + **Insightful advisors.** Managers who lead strategy development and provide guidance to teams **What You Will Do** _Communications:_ + Support a strategic and proactive approach to communications and ensure all activities and messages are in alignment with the company’s strategies, goals and objectives. + Manage communications platforms and vehicles (e.g., town hall meetings, newsletters, intranet, etc.) in alignment with industry best practices. + Help develop the plan, pipeline and calendar for all content that goes to employees in Latin America. + Research, write and edit a broad range of internal and external communications that promote Latin American initiatives and promote/protect the company reputation (e.g., talking points, messaging, newsletter content, scripts, etc.). + Measure and report on effectiveness of communications and channels. + Partner with Corporate Communications and be part of a global network of communicators in order to drive alignment and collaboration with company, business and functional communications. + Liaise with Corporate Marketing to manage the company brand in Latin America, ensuring it is aligned with the company strategy and teams are adhering to brand standards. + Support communications activities for critical company change initiatives. + Ensure corporate responsibility activities align with company-level strategy and manage community relations activities. + Provide M A communications support as needed and in alignment with Corporate and business communications; + Coordinate with Corporate Communications on media requests and strategies; ensure alignment with company policy and guidelines; + Manage external vendors as needed to support communications program; + Support meetings and events. _Medical and Sales Education:_ + Sets strategy for continual growth through internal and external education; + Create and execution of Annual Training Plan with focus on tactics, objective/source of volume; + Drives development of excellent education and customer engagement tools, programs, etc.; + Design learning programs in partnership with Marketing Managers. Clinical manager and Sales managers; + Coordination of the course content: Works with GPs to prepare the agendas of the medical and sales education courses. Generates agendas and coordinates the necessary logistics for courses. Selects speakers, consultants; + Registration in Regional and International EMC events: Manages the online Registration System. Coordinates the enrollment of the physicians with the distributors; + Registration of activity data: Provides updated record of data from the Stryker course activities; + Online training: sales and products: Manages the implementation of the Online Training program for the distributor professionals and employees in the region; + Must conduct all businesses and affairs in compliance with the laws and the regulations, including with the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and the Stryker Code of Conduct, in compliance with the highest ethical values; + Define and Control the budget in line with requirements of the Business; + Provide high level of customer service to internal and external customers. **What You Will Need** + Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field, MBA preferred; + Experience working in corporate communications or an agency setting; + Experience working in health care companies; + Fluency in English, Spanish and Portuguese; + Execution-oriented, self-starter and self-navigator who can prioritize high-value projects versus tasks in a fast-paced environment and balance demands of multiple projects; + Responsive, with a customer-centric / solutions-oriented approach; + Ability to work strategically and tactically across all levels of the organization; + Problem solver with creative approach to proactive identification and resolution of issues; + Effective influencing skills and ability to build trust with internal clients and constructive relationships with external partners; + Outstanding written and verbal communication skills including the ability to tailor communications style to audience; + Excellent editing skills and strong attention to detail; + Knowledge of compliance regulations; + Knowledge of the hospital industry; + Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite is very strongly preferred; + Experience working in a matrixed environment is a plus; + Availability to travel 35% of the time or more. \#LI-LatAM Work From Home: Occasional Travel Percentage: 40% Stryker is one of the world’s leading medical technology companies and, together with its customers, is driven to make healthcare better.
